Black Book Empowerment is a Houston-based nonprofit community-based organization focused on advancing economic mobility, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship opportunities for Black-owned businesses and underserved youth.

We design and deliver culturally responsive programs that support small business development, youth entrepreneurship, and STEM and career pathway exposure for students in grades 6–12. Our programming includes learning experiences that emphasize hands-on education, mentorship, and real-world application.

Black Book Empowerment provides business development workshops, entrepreneurship education, and access-to-capital readiness programming that equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to build sustainable businesses and career pathways. We also leverage a community-based directory and database to support outreach, engagement, and connection between businesses, partners, and program participants.

Through partnerships with schools, workforce organizations, financial institutions, and community stakeholders, Black Book Empowerment implements structured, outcomes-driven programs that promote economic self-reliance, workforce participation, and long-term community growth. We are committed to accountability, measurable outcomes, and professional program delivery that aligns with public agency and institutional requirements.
