For over 50 years, Dr. George E. Madjitey has served Houston families as a trusted OB/GYN, delivering multiple generations and providing expert care in both routine and high risk pregnancies. A Howard University College of Medicine graduate, his legacy lives in the thousands of lives he has helped bring into the world.

Dr. Reginald DesRoches made history as the first Black, first immigrant, and first engineer to serve as president of Rice University. Through visionary leadership, groundbreaking engineering research, and deep community engagement, he is shaping the future of higher education in Houston and beyond.

Thomas Jones Jr. is a founding partner of McConnellJones, LLP, the largest African American owned public accounting firm in the United States, and a current member of the Port Commission appointed by the City of Houston. Through business leadership, civic service, and education advocacy, he has helped shape Houston’s economic and institutional landscape for decades.
