Dennis Chachere is Black History because he is reclaiming Black Western legacy through ownership and authenticity. A third generation Houston cowboy, professional calf roper, and CEO of Four Arrows Saddle & Apparel, he is reshaping rodeo, fashion, and country music while amplifying voices that have long been overlooked.

Charlotte Kelly Bryant is Black History because she protected legacy through action. As Executive Director and Founding Board Member of the Blue Triangle Multi Cultural Association, she helped save the historic Blue Triangle Community Center in Third Ward, preserving a space built by Black women for community, culture, and service. Her leadership ensures history remains lived, not lost.

Major General John H. Bailey II is Black History because he turned service into legacy. From leading soldiers in combat and aviation missions to founding Bailey Military Institute, he has created pathways for the next generation of aviation and technology leaders. His impact lives on through education, workforce development, and a commitment to building opportunities where access once did not exist.
