The Venue @ Centerpointe Midtown is an elegant newly renovated intimate setting located in the heart of Greater Houston Midtown Area, just minutes from Downtown Houston, the Medical Center and the Museum District. The 78 year old Historic building was purchased in 1994 by Lou A. Guillory to house her counseling agency, Centerpointe Counseling Services, where she has provided therapeutic counseling services for individuals, families and groups for the last two decades.
Phase II of the use of this beautiful building include the addition of their premiere event venue with rental space for social, family, business and educational events. The use of the building as a Hospitality Venue was inspired by Ms. Guillory’s mother, Essie Frank who began the operation of her restaurant and bakery from the kitchen of the family’s three bedroom home in southern Opelousas, Louisiana. She later moved her business to a rented building where she cooked and served delicious southern dishes, pies and cakes until she became ill at the age of 81. The facility’s Legacy space is named in her honor.
It is their desire that the Venue @ Centerpointe Midtown will be enjoyed for decades to come and all who enters our doors will be inspired to create their own memories.
