Got Nail University, black owned and woman operated, opened their doors in January 2020 in the middle of the Pandemic. GNU is a specialty cosmetology school that specializes in Nail Technology only.
Our owner and instructor Audrey “Coco” Jefferson has been a nail tech for over 30 years and opening a school has been a lifelong dream for hers. GNU has graduated and licensed over 75 students ; with a 100% passing rate on the Texas State Board.
Each graduate after completing 600 hours and state exam will have a solid foundation of basic and advanced skills that will set you apart from the average nail technician! We equip them with the essential tools and knowledge to acquire and maintain a consistent flow of clientele in this ever so evolving industry. You will be the “demand” who will “supply” the need! You will also learn and master the fundamentals of what true entrepreneurship and nail tech life is all about, from providing healthy nail care services to business branding!
