Since 2014, Tamesha Wells, owner of Living Well Realty Group, has focused on building an extraordinary team of talented realtists who are driven to achieve the impossible in the real estate market. The need to make a difference in the lives of current and future homeowners is what compels Ms. Wells to educate, empower, and mobilize homeownership and wealth in America.
She spent just over 7 years working in oil and gas in various positions including Community Outreach Liaison and HR Public Relations Specialist. These experiences taught her many valuable corporate lessons and propelled her customer service skills.
At the age of 19, Tamesha began her career in real estate as an investor. A few years later, she acquired her loan origination licenses and fulfilled her quest to help families achieve homeownership. Next, she obtained her real estate salesperson license and has worked diligently in her field. Through hard work and an uncompromising dedication to serving her client's needs, she has received numerous recognitions including NAREB 2019 Realtist Associate Award for sales prowess and devotion to the organization, and the 2019 Top 20 Black Real Estate Professional in Houston Award.
Today, the native Houstonian serves as 1st Vice President of National Association of Real Estate Brokers Young Realtist Division. She works tirelessly sharing her talents and giving beck to others. She is also a founder of the successful, Young Entrepreneurship Program, or YEP, an organization that guides high school students through opportunities in real estate. At the tender age of 8, when she began taking inventory in the church food pantry with her grandmother, she began to learn critical aspects of running a business, organization, and leadership development. She says, “Entrepreneurship turns children into leaders. It transforms them into employers rather than employees and helps them create successful, independent lives through purposeful enterprise.”
True to her dedication to community advocacy, Tamesha has chaired the Women’s Council of HBREA Scholarship Luncheon for 3 consecutive years, teaches financial literacy at the juvenile detention center, and raises scholarship funds for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, among other activities.
In her spare time, she co-hosts a Wednesday radio show on 953 Jamz called “The Real on Real Estate."
