Love & Make offers the chance to step outside of the box and make something unique and memorable with your friends, family & colleagues! Our workshops are interactive, fun, crafting experiences perfect for team building, date nights, best friends, me-time, birthdays, client appreciation and more.
We primarily host candle-making, bath bomb and soap-making experiences. Workshops are open to the public daily at our studio located in the charming Rice Village area. In addition, we are mobile and will happily travel to your location anywhere in Houston or surrounding areas. Finally, for virtual teams, Love & Make offers DIY At-Home Kits, world-wide shipping, and options for virtual instruction.
Love & Make has also launched our very own candle line comprised of an array of fragrance options. This unique assortment has something in its collection for each consumer to discover at least one new favorite. Our candles are handmade in Houston, Texas using 100% premium, domestic soybeans and lead-free wicks. Each fragrance (phthalate-free, non-toxic) has been carefully crafted to ensure that your candle provides a strong and enveloping aroma. The Love & Make team is a small business that has taught candle-making workshops for years and has developed expertise on the elements that appeal to diverse populations. We have assisted several patrons in finding their signature fragrance and explored scent palates with thousands of guests.
Sisters-in-law Amara and Bukola, held their first Houston-area pilot workshop during the holiday season in 2017. By January of 2018, they were officially incorporated, and the company has continued to grow with new products and services, including mobile workshops, virtual workshops and a luxury candle line. Love & Make is a women-owned and Black-owned business, and we value your patronage.
