Spectacular Kids provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to children between the ages of 1-10 with autism and related disorders. ABA therapy is a comprehensive service that aids in the development of social skills, self-help skills, cognitive skills, language/communication, and reduction of maladaptive behaviors (aggression, self-injurious behaviors, property destruction, etc.). ABA services are intensive in nature (averaging 30 to 40 hours per week, similar to school hours) and are provided on a 1:1 child to staff ratio. Additionally, ABA is the only therapy endorsed by the Surgeon General as a scientifically validated treatment for autism.
Spectacular Kids was started in 2012 by Dana Harris, a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience in the field. Starting with only in-home services, Spectacular Kids has since grown to open centers in Kingwood and Missouri City. The mission of the company is to make a positive and meaningful difference in the life of every child and family we serve. Our vision is to be a leader in the ABA community, where children have access to quality and compassionate care.
