Their grand opening presentation to the community was on September 28th, 2019. This day marked the beginning of a change in our community. In the Houston market there are over 100+ beauty supply stores in Houston, TX.
The Hair Care & Beauty Product industry is a 75 billion dollar industry globally. African Americans spent an estimated $2.6 billion on hair care products not including Wigs, Hair and hair accessories.
The more alarming statistic is that Black Ownership in the hair care industry is less than 10%. This has allowed our markets to be dictated by merchants who do not necessarily understand what is best for our community’s Hair Care. T&C Beauty Supply is here to change that narrative through education and listening to the community about what they need.
