Since his youth, Blake has had a deep love for a wide variety of music. He played the drums, trombone, and wrote poetry. Blake took those interests and began to DJ in high school, where he mixed for graduation parties, fundraisers, and cookouts. He continued to DJ in college at Truman State University, where he occasionally mixed for house parties and frat parties.
Now, Blake has expanded to DJ around Houston for events such as weddings, birthday parties, Halloween parties, and much more. His favorite genre to mix is R&B/Neo-Soul because of the emotions it evokes, and nostalgia it brings. However, Blake’s playlist also contains Hip-Hop, Bounce, Afro-Beats, Reggaeton, Top-40 hits, and club classics such as line dances and throwback jams.
